Couples Counseling
-
Overview
Talking about your relationship can feel scary and vulnerable. In our work together, I make sure each partner feels heard, understood, and valued as we move toward shared goals.
-
Common Concerns
I support couples in deepening connection, improving communication, navigating conflict more effectively, and repairing old wounds. I also help partners balance closeness with individuality and explore the long-term direction of the relationship.
-
My Approach
I integrate strategies from the Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and differentiation-based therapy to help couples understand their patterns, communicate more effectively, increase closeness, and and build a stronger, more resilient partnership. This blended approach helps couples grow both together and individually.

The First Session
In our first session, I’ll review the paperwork and outline what you can expect from the counseling process. We’ll explore the history of your relationship, what brings you in, and what you hope to gain. Depending on your needs, I may also offer an individual session for each partner to better understand your experiences and perspectives.
