Individual Counseling
-
Overview
As a person-centered counselor at heart, I strive to create a space where we can both show up as our authentic selves, and you feel seen and understood. I combine talk therapy with knowledge about trauma and the nervous system to guide you toward healing and growth.
-
Common Concerns
I support clients navigating post-traumatic stress, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship issues, codependency and loss of sense of self, and the unique challenges of being a highly sensitive or gifted individual. I enjoy helping clients deepen their self-understanding, release old patterns, and feel grounded and empowered.
-
My Approach
I use an integrative approach and incorporate a variety of therapeutic approaches, including but not limited to person-centered talk therapy, cognitive-behavioral modalities, mindfulness, parts work, strengths-based counseling, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

The First Session
In our first session, I’ll review the paperwork and outline what you can expect from the counseling process. We’ll explore your personal history, what brings you in, and what you hope to gain. We'll also spend some time talking specifically about your goals for therapy to create a roadmap for our work together.
